MY CODE

When people look at me, I want them to know every role in my life that I have to play. I play it well. When i have to be a father, Im the best father that you’ll ever see. when I have to be a husband , I’ll be the best husband. When, I’m a brother, when I’m a son, when I’m a teammate, when Im a player, when I’m a role model. Those things I really take a deep passion and love for. When you get to a point in your life when you prioritize things , and you realize that you don’t have to play all these roles at the same time. I have to be a father when I have to be a father. I’m not a father when I’m playing football, you know what I’m saying? Im a football player i have to play football. So when i was able to say okay, now I’m a dad, now I’m a husband, now I’m a football player, now I’m a brother, now I’m a son. It’s so much easier to communicate and to be open to things.SIG

Schofield hopes to take ‘victory lap’

The Arizona Cardinals drafted O’Brien Schofield in 2010 knowing he was still recovering from a torn ACL suffered at the Senior Bowl. They knew he would need time to round into form, but viewed him as a developmental pick, someone who they could snag at a lower draft position than his skill set would dictate because of the fact that he was not ready to play yet. The O’Brien Schofield Blog

What’s up 12s?  I thought it would be a cool idea to get my blog going during the 2014 season as a way to keep everyone informed as to what’s going on in my life on and off the field.  Throughout the season, I’ll be doing game recaps, hosting trivia contests, giveaways and other cool things as a way to thank all of you that support us unconditionally! The 2014 season is off to a great start after our win last week against the Packers.  It was a complete team win for us – both the offense and defense executed from start to finish.  Not to mention, the stadium was Read more

Seahawks advance to Super Bowl XLVIII

The Seahawks are Super Bowl bound. It took a fourth-down touchdown pass from Russell Wilson to Jermaine Kearse and a tipped pass in the other end zone in the fourth quarter with 22 seconds left, but the Seahawks defeated the defending NFC Champion 49ers in the NFC Championship game 23-17 at CenturyLink Field on Sunday to give them a spot in Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos on Feb. 2. The 2013 Seahawks, who matched the franchise-best 13-3 record posted by the 2005 team during the regular season, have now equaled that team’s performance in the postseason by winning two playoff games at home to advance to the Super Bowl.
